The Community Training Center operates within the Hospital and departmental framework to support operational components across a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Our mission is to foster a culture of safety, continuous learning, and evidence-based practice that directly impacts patient outcomes and professional growth.
As a Registered Nurse within the Community Training Center, you will serve as a vital link between clinical care and professional education. This role is designed to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate both clinical and non-clinical educational programs. You will ensure that all initiatives adhere to hospital policies while actively promoting patient safety and quality improvement.
In this position, you will act as a change agent and consultant, collaborating with stakeholders to identify educational needs and practice gaps. Your day-to-day work involves designing instructional curricula that integrate research findings and adult learning principles, while maintaining a proactive approach to patient safety by questioning current processes and encouraging patient participation in their own care. You will also serve as a role model for professional practice, mentoring others and advancing the Nursing Professional Development specialty.
Candidates selected for this role will be required to obtain specific credentials within designated timeframes, including CPR for Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 30 days and Age-Appropriate Instructor Certification (CPR, ALS, or ILS) within 6 months.
