As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will serve as a professional practitioner responsible for assessing, managing, and directing nursing care throughout a patient's hospital stay. You will coordinate planning with other disciplines, utilizing a patient-driven approach to ensure the highest quality of care. Your day will involve performing comprehensive assessments, establishing and evaluating individualized plans of care, and administering specialized interventions for high-risk patients.
You will collaborate closely with physicians, care partners, and the broader healthcare team to manage complex clinical situations, including pain management, restraint care, and abuse assessment. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in patient and family education, discharge planning, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
