This position is located within the Cardiothoracic Stepdown Unit at HealthPark Medical Center. The role is dedicated to the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the comprehensive nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses in this role function as clinicians, teachers, researchers, leaders, and professionals in development, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to differentiate urgency in patient care.
You will direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association, in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. The position requires collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes. A key aspect of this role is applying knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity to provide personalized care, guided by the code of ethics for nurses. You will contribute to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
