About the Team
UCHealth is a pioneer in solid organ transplantation, specializing in kidney, liver, pancreas, and heart/lung procedures, as well as thoracic surgery and hepatology. We are the only academic medical center in the Rocky Mountain region with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit, boasting extensive experience in living donor liver transplants. Our team is dedicated to improving lives through learning, healing, and discovery, while fostering human connection in every interaction.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope direct patient care in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. You will work within our highly specialized Acute Care units, managing moderate to high patient acuity cases. The role emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
As a member of our nursing staff, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Clinical Educators will support your journey with individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation through the AMSN core curriculum and relevant specialty certification standards. Whether working day or night rotations, you will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- verifiedState licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- verified6 months of nursing (RN) experience
