About the Role
UCHealth seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Transplant/Thoracic unit. In this position, you will provide advanced bedside care to complex post-surgical and transplant patients, serving as a vital link in their recovery journey from admission through discharge.
You will partner with physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, and an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Your day will involve assessing patients, administering medications and blood products, monitoring telemetry and hemodynamic responses, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on disease processes and post-surgical needs, while supporting safe transitions and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
