About the Role
In this position, you will deliver evidence-based nursing care to a specialized population of acute transplant and thoracic patients. This role is designed for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic setting, utilizing advanced assessment and critical thinking skills to respond to clinical changes and emergencies. You will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, coordinating closely with physicians, transplant coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
Beyond clinical duties, you will play an active role in shaping the unit's culture by precepting and supporting peers. Your work will directly impact patient and family education, guiding them through procedures, post-operative recovery, and discharge planning.
