This Registered Nurse position is an onsite role located at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North in Colorado Springs. The role provides direct patient care at a proficient level, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, as well as the organization's policies, values, and mission.
You will work the Night shift on a full-time basis (72 hours per pay period). In this fast-paced environment, you will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments to optimize outcomes and maximize resources. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs. Additionally, you will evaluate learning needs to provide appropriate patient and family education and may precept student nurses and new hires.
