You will join the dynamic MHC 4 East Medical Surgical team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. This onsite role focuses on providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within Acute Care (Med-Surg) units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. The position requires a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver care while welcoming new knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
This is a full-time, onsite position working the Night Shift. The schedule consists of 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). To support our night shift team, UCHealth offers a Night Shift Incentive Program that pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs.
