UCHealth is seeking an RN for our Acute Care Float Pool. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple acute units, adapting to changing patient needs and unit workflows. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a technology-driven, Magnet-aspiring environment that values innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
As a float pool nurse, you will provide direct acute care nursing to diverse patient populations, performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses to treatment. Your day will involve developing and implementing individualized care plans with physicians, documenting care accurately in the electronic health record, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. You will adapt quickly to different unit workflows and patient acuity levels while supporting staff during census and staffing changes.
