About the Role

This onsite position serves as a critical link in our virtual care ecosystem, providing top-of-scope nursing practice from our virtual center. You will collaborate closely with onsite inpatient care teams to monitor patient safety and quality of care measures. Your role involves proactive communication to share algorithmic interventions with unit nurses, hospital supervisors, and physicians, facilitating the best possible care outcomes.

In this capacity, you will utilize the nursing process to intervene and provide recommendations to the onsite clinical team, ensuring secure safety and quality at the point of care. The role offers the opportunity to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth, while continuously welcoming new knowledge. Clinical Educators will support and guide you through individualized specialty education and training to ensure competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
