We are dedicated to advancing patient care by leveraging a multidisciplinary approach that prioritizes wellness, patient perspectives, and evidence-based practice.

About the Role

This onsite Registered Nurse position serves as a critical bridge between virtual monitoring and inpatient care. You will provide top-of-scope practice in a virtual care environment, utilizing the nursing process to monitor patients from our virtual center in collaboration with onsite inpatient teams. Your role involves actively monitoring safety and quality measures to intervene and provide recommendations to the onsite clinical team, ensuring the best care outcomes.

Success in this role requires proactive communication to share algorithmic interventions with unit nurses, hospital supervisors, and physicians. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting that welcomes new knowledge and values a team approach. As a model of proficiency, you may also be involved in precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Clinical Educators will support you with individualized specialty education and training to validate your competency throughout your clinical orientation.
