About the Role

This Registered Nurse position is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Surgical Oncology department. As an onsite role, you will join a dynamic team working in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care in Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units with moderate to high patient acuity.

The role requires a Day and Night rotation schedule. You will value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness and the patient perspective. A key part of your day will involve modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth, while contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
