About the Role
This position serves as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) within the Operating Room at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced, innovative clinical setting.
The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and safety at the point of care. You will be expected to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth and welcoming new knowledge. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your orientation. This onsite role operates on a flexible shift schedule within the perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room levels of care, adhering to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum standards.
