About the Role

This position serves as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) within the Operating Room at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As an onsite role, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care in perioperative, PACU, or operating room settings.

You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment that prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and safety at the point of care. A key aspect of this role involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. You will work within a framework that includes AORN and ABPANC core curriculum standards, supported by Clinical Educators who guide individualized specialty education and competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
