Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) serves as the business partner working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen. We drive continuous improvement and maintain all Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure our customers receive the Amazon smile.
As the RME Planner, you will develop maintenance plans and schedules using recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your work involves screening Asset Performance Management (APM) work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, and estimating labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned work orders. This supports a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program.
You will collaborate directly with maintenance management, service technicians, and vendors to plan, coordinate, and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows. Additionally, you will ensure that spare parts are ordered and maintained in stock for both planned and emergency repairs. Your efforts will drive proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and close accurately in Amazon's maintenance virtuous cycle.

2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience; 4+ years of working with enterprise asset management software suite experience; Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance
Skills: Microsoft Office, Computer Maintenance Management System, Enterprise Asset Management Software Suite, Material Handling Systems.
Education: High school or equivalent diploma required.
