Whether you're launching coasters or safely loading guests, you will be the one to make the thrills happen. As a Ride Operator, you are the face of our park's safety and excitement, ensuring every guest leaves with a smile while maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity.
Day in the Life
Your shift will be dynamic and active, requiring you to stand, walk, and move throughout the ride cycle. You will be responsible for ensuring guest safety and satisfaction by enforcing rider restrictions, such as monitoring height requirements, and physically checking restraints. From operating the control panel and visually monitoring flashing lights to manually opening restraints and assisting guests as they exit, your attention to detail keeps the experience seamless.
You will also manage merge points to ensure guests are loaded safely and timely, validate Fast Passes, and maintain the cleanliness of the ride area by managing trash and sweeping debris. In the event of an emergency, you will be trained to respond immediately and maintain control until a Supervisor arrives. To succeed in this role, you must complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course and pass ride certification tests with 100% proficiency.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess excellent verbal communication skills. We look for individuals who are willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and can uphold safety policies consistently. Successful applicants will be scheduled based on operational needs, with flexibility required for weekends and holidays.
