Ride Operator

Whether you're launching coasters or safely loading them, you'll be the one to make the thrills happen. As a Ride Operator, you are the face of the experience, ensuring every guest feels safe and satisfied while they enjoy the park's attractions.

This is a seasonal position with schedules determined by operational needs. You will be the guardian of the ride cycle, standing at the control panel to monitor flashing lights, operate secondary controls, and be prepared to stop the ride instantly during critical situations. Your day involves more than just pressing buttons; you will enforce rider restrictions, manually check restraints, and manage merge points to ensure guests are loaded safely and in a timely manner.

Beyond the thrill, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the ride area, from lining trash cans to sweeping debris. You must be ready to respond to any emergency situation and maintain control until a Supervisor arrives. To succeed in this role, you will complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course and pass ride certification tests with 100% proficiency.

Working Conditions

This role requires you to be outdoors in various weather conditions. You must be physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching throughout your shift. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and signaling during operations.
