About the Role
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Rheumatologist to join an established team in Columbia, SC. This position offers a collaborative environment within a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient rheumatology practice. The role involves providing consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for the treatment of rheumatic diseases.
Candidates will have access to excellent musculoskeletal ultrasound capabilities, including dedicated clinic suites and portable machines, supported by a team of four rheumatologists certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Additionally, there is an optional opportunity to engage in teaching rheumatology fellows, medical students, and residents, complementing our new rheumatology fellowship program launched in July 2022. Successful candidates will receive an academic rank at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine commensurate with their experience.
