Brown University Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join our expanding outpatient practice in Providence, RI. Our team is dedicated to providing world-class, comprehensive services focused on general, musculoskeletal, and neurorehabilitation. We are currently looking to expand our Neurorehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic, Musculoskeletal, and Oncology service lines.
This role offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment featuring onsite Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Aquatic Therapy. Physicians will have the opportunity to engage in leadership roles and drive service-line growth while championing evidence-based, goal-directed care within a transdisciplinary model.
As a key member of our outpatient practice, you will manage musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation patients across the lifespan. The position emphasizes collaboration with therapists, education teams, social services, and community resources to ensure holistic patient care. While the primary focus is on non-interventional PM&R, the role includes providing EMG/NCV diagnostics and ultrasound-guided procedures.
There is flexibility in scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities available. The role also includes an option to cover inpatient duties one weekend per month and the chance to teach residents and medical students at Brown University Health.
