At Apple, we work every single day to craft products that enrich people's lives. We are constantly seeking individuals who love working on challenges that no one has solved yet. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.
Our RF Systems Engineering team focuses on the overall system performance of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies, including Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and UWB. We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual to join us in ensuring seamless connectivity across Apple platforms.
In this position, you will assess and debug multi-radio coexistence issues by performing hands-on hardware experiments, failure analysis, and root-cause investigations at the RF/wireless system level. You will play a critical role in defining system-level coexistence requirements for chipset teams, validating early engineering validation boards (EVBs), and optimizing coexistence mitigation techniques.
Your day-to-day will involve reviewing and signing off on hardware designs, including PCB layouts, flex layouts, system grounding, and shielding, to ensure all multi-radio coexistence standards are met before release. You will define and execute validation and characterization test plans, tracking results to communicate data-driven insights to cross-functional partners and leadership. Additionally, you will collaborate with RF Test Engineers and other teams to bring up devices under test, develop test procedures, and create mock-ups or experimental setups for coexistence validation.
Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity. We take affirmative action to hire and employ qualified individuals from all backgrounds.
