The Revenue Cycle Manager serves as the strategic leader for the entire financial lifecycle of patient care. This position is critical for ensuring accurate, timely reimbursement while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations. You will oversee operations from patient registration and insurance verification through billing, collections, and payment posting, driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will manage front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end revenue cycle operations, including medical billing, coding, charge capture, and claims submission. You will lead efforts to reduce claim denials, manage accounts receivable follow-up, and analyze financial data to generate key performance indicators. Beyond technical oversight, you will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to refine workflows and implement process improvements that maximize revenue.
As a leader, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and evaluating revenue cycle staff, as well as managing payer relationships to resolve complex reimbursement issues. This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of medical billing and coding standards, and the ability to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
