About the Role
In this position, you will be instrumental in streamlining customer savings calculations and analytics. Your primary focus will be utilizing Power BI to increase the Revenue & Pricing Analyst (RPA) team's bandwidth, enabling the group to support larger, more complex initiatives effectively. You will work at the intersection of data, economics, and utility policy, ensuring the accuracy and depth of customer savings analyses.
Your day-to-day will involve gathering internal requirements, automating monthly rate inputs, and accounting for electric market conditions in New York State. You will track Public Service Commission policies and rulings to create dynamic, informative visualizations that drive decision-making. Additionally, you will support recurring monthly and annual deliverables, including analyzing customer Energy Charge Adjustments, Cost of Service studies, rate developments, and rate reporting. Collaboration is key, as you will assist in the execution of rate-setting processes, performing impact analyses on customer bills and verifying rate outputs for accuracy.
