About the Role

We are seeking a Class B Driver (Retail Technician) in San Diego, CA, to provide comprehensive environmental services. In this role, you will collect and dispose of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, recycle materials such as light bulbs, oil, and engine fluids, and perform on-site cleanup activities. You will drive a box truck to retail customer sites, including Fortune 500 companies, to pick up, pack, and segregate waste products for safe transportation.

This position involves interacting directly with customers at each stop, preparing DOT shipping documents, and ensuring all projects comply with Federal, State, and local regulations. You will utilize laptops, printers, and handheld devices to complete tasks and ensure drum counts and conditions meet company policies before shipment. The role requires a commitment to general labor and operating vehicles safely in accordance with all U.S. DOT and corporate guidelines.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsements within six months of hire. The selection process includes a background check, drug test, and physical examination. Please note that by position, you must meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard if the role requires a respirator.
