About the Role
The Key Carrier role serves as an elevated extension of the Coordinator position, acting as a vital leadership link within the store. In this capacity, you will alternate between Coordinator duties and Key Carrier responsibilities based on store needs. As a Key Carrier, you will act as the Manager on Duty, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of store operations.
You will be responsible for creating a positive internal and external customer experience while promoting a culture of honesty, integrity, and safety. Your day will involve ensuring the store team performs tasks in accordance with the store plan, addressing immediate customer service issues, and providing coaching to Associates. You will exercise discretion regarding customer service policies, maintain accurate Associate coverage, and ensure adherence to all operational procedures, labor laws, and company guidelines for opening and closing.
This role requires open availability, including nights and weekends, and the ability to act quickly under challenging circumstances. You will partner with management on training needs, support shrink reduction goals, and effectively communicate priorities to both management and Associates.
