About the Role

This Retail Security Officer position in Gillette, WY, is designed for individuals with a retail customer service background who are eager to grow. You will serve as the first line of defense for our clients, conducting patrols inside and outside the premises in various weather conditions and terrains. The role requires frequent interactions with client employees and guests, demanding the ability to remain calm and professional while interacting with a wide range of individuals.

Your day-to-day will involve identifying and reporting safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity, as well as managing access control duties. You will be responsible for conflict resolution and de-escalation, responding to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment, and providing detailed report writing. Success in this role requires great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
