About the Role
As a Retail Security Officer, you will provide impeccable customer service and peace of mind to our clients and their guests. This role is designed to help make the world a safer place while offering you the opportunity to grow your career. You will act as the first point of contact for vendors, customers, and client employees, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere where everyone's needs are met.
Your day will involve conducting internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, and security violations, as well as monitoring entrances and exits. You will be responsible for completing daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and managing incidents or emergencies with rapid, effective judgment. Whether directing persons causing disruption or protecting the scene of an incident, you will operate in a calm manner while presenting a professional image to the public and management.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, which includes a drug screen and background investigation. Selected candidates will attend an in-person interview and orientation in Colorado Springs. The role requires a personal vehicle due to assignment locations and shift requirements, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Springs Guard Card license annually.

Requirements
- verified18 years of age or older
- verifiedHigh School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- verifiedMust be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation

- verifiedMust have Swing or Grave shift availability
- verifiedIntermediate computer/technology skills
- verifiedMust be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year
