About the Role
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service by exceeding expectations and making a real difference for our customers. Your day will involve engaging with customers to provide trustworthy automotive advice, recommending products and services, and assisting with product selection. You will collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment, supporting one another in daily responsibilities.
You will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked inventory, organizing merchandise, and following proper point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies. The role also involves utilizing diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommending solutions, while staying up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Safety is a priority; you will follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment.
Hiring Process
To apply, candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years old and possess the physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. We offer a flexible schedule that includes mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. While basic automotive knowledge, previous experience in automotive retail, and ASE Certification are preferred, we welcome applicants with strong people skills and effective communication abilities in both Spanish and English.
