Retail Assembly Technician

About the Role

Have you ever wondered how the merchandise on display at your favorite store gets there? From big patio sets to play yards, the answer is simple: we do. As a Retail Merchandise Assembly Technician, you will assemble, disassemble, build, and place products directly on-site within retail stores in Lithonia, Georgia.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity for those who prefer working alone and hate sitting still. You will be servicing major retail chains, building items such as wheelbarrows, outdoor gas grills, and patio furniture. After a paid training period of approximately 1-2 weeks, you will travel to various customer sites, including Lowe's, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, and Walmart, to perform your duties.

This is an independent contractor position based on piecework. Compensation is paid per finished item, with rates varying by difficulty. The faster and more accurately you work, the more you earn, offering unlimited earning potential. You will be responsible for driving between store locations, and travel time and scheduling needs may vary.

Hiring Process

We have immediate openings and are looking for candidates who can start within the next week. Upon hire, you will be classified as a W-4/I-9 1099 independent contractor. A local regional manager will discuss the piece-rate pay structure and answer any questions you may have.
