About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead respiratory services within our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This position is designed to bridge advanced clinical expertise with team leadership, ensuring safe, evidence-based treatment for medically complex rehabilitation patients.
In this role, you will provide hands-on respiratory care while simultaneously supervising a team of therapists. You will manage staffing, workflow, and clinical standards, collaborating closely with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support quality and regulatory compliance. Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- verifiedActive state Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedPrevious supervisory, charge, or lead therapist experience preferred
Nice to Have
NALS/NRP or PALS certification (depending on patient population). Previous supervisory, charge, or lead therapist experience.
