About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support serves as a Field Clinician dedicated to delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. This role is designed for those passionate about bridging the gap between hospital discharge and independent living.

In this position, you will combine hands-on patient care with education and collaboration. You will work alongside physicians and care teams to ensure safe, coordinated, and high-quality outcomes outside the hospital. Your day will involve conducting clinical assessments, managing ventilator equipment, and instructing patients and caregivers on proper usage. You will act as a clinical resource, collaborating proactively with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes while ensuring smooth transitions from hospital to home.
