About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support serves as a Field Clinician dedicated to delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. This role is designed for those who thrive on combining hands-on patient care with education and collaboration.\n In this position, you will work alongside physicians and care teams to support safe, coordinated, and high-quality outcomes outside the hospital. You will be instrumental in discharge planning and execution for highly technical patients, ensuring smooth transitions to the home setting. Your work involves conducting clinical assessments, instructing patients and caregivers on equipment use, and acting as a clinical resource to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- verifiedOne (1) year of clinical experience as a Nurse with ventilator exposure, Healthcare Respiratory Therapist or HME Respiratory Therapist
- verifiedValid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch
- verifiedCPR certification
