About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join an acute care hospital setting in Syracuse, New York. This 14-week contract role is designed for a professional comfortable working in high-acuity environments, providing essential respiratory care and cardiopulmonary support to critically ill patients.
The position operates on a night shift schedule (3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and required holidays. You will function as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation and operating complex respiratory equipment.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Pediatric respiratory therapy experience. Experience working in high-acuity acute care settings. ACLS certification. PALS certification.
