ShiftKey enables independent respiratory therapists to take control of their careers by bidding on per diem shifts posted by a vast network of facilities. Based on criteria you select, you choose the facilities you want, the days you want to work, and the rate you want to bid. Whether you need Mondays off, want to avoid nights, or simply need extra income alongside another job, the platform allows you to work as little or as much as you like.
Respiratory therapists are essential members of a facility's medical team, helping patients treat and manage cardio-pulmonary disease and disorders. In this role, you will conduct, perform, and analyze pulmonary function tests, assist physicians and nurses in creating treatment plans, and administer aerosol medications and chest physical therapy. You will also teach patients how to use equipment and administer medications without assistance.
ShiftKey partners with Stride Health to provide healthcare professionals using the app access to portable benefits, including affordable options for health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Users can also get paid the next day via PayCard or opt for weekly direct deposit.
