In this role, you will be a vital part of the care team, exercising considerable judgment to manage respiratory care procedures for a primarily adult and geriatric resident population. Your work ensures that care meets the unique physical and psychological needs of residents at every stage of growth and development.
You will be the bridge between medical direction and patient care, assessing cardiopulmonary status, initiating life support systems, and managing artificial ventilators. Beyond clinical procedures, you will play a key educational role, instructing residents and their families on the rationale and methodology of treatments to facilitate cooperation and understanding. By participating in interdisciplinary rounds and quality assurance programs, you will help plan and evaluate effective resident care, ensuring the highest standards of rehabilitation and wellness.
