The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) serves as a vital member of the Cardiopulmonary department at Resurrection Medical Center, delivering high-acuity respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in a critical care environment. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings, managing advanced respiratory cases and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive patient outcomes.
Working on a 3x12-hour night shift schedule, you will assess patients, develop care plans, and implement treatments ranging from airway management to ventilator support. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a Lead RCP during assigned shifts and respond to code blue and rapid response events, ensuring comprehensive care for all patient populations.
Based in the Chicago Metro Area, this role offers the convenience of a big-city lifestyle with a strong healthcare market. The location features lakefront living and eliminates the need for a car. For candidates relocating from outside the state of Illinois, relocation assistance is available.
