Novant Health seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. You became a respiratory therapist because you care deeply — about your patients, your team, and the moments where skilled care makes all the difference. At Novant Health, you'll do more than provide critical respiratory support — you'll be part of a compassionate, collaborative team that values your expertise and supports your growth.
Whether you're an experienced RT or just starting your journey, here you'll find purpose, respect, and the resources to thrive. In this full-time role within the Adult Respiratory Care department, you will act as a patient advocate, incorporating education into interdisciplinary care plans. You will prioritize duties according to changing patient acuity levels, administer and evaluate medication therapies, and perform patient transfers. Your work involves providing routine respiratory care, such as ABGs and bronchial hygiene therapy, while also managing higher levels of care in critical care areas and emergent situations, including ventilator management and code blue responses.
We are recognized among the best in the region for respiratory care and clinical outcomes. Our culture is mission-driven, focused on whole-person care for both patients and team members. We foster collaborative teams where your voice is heard and respected, offering opportunities for career advancement, mentoring, and specialty training.
