About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) serves as a vital member of the Cardiopulmonary team at Resurrection Medical Center, delivering high-acuity respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, critical care environment, managing advanced respiratory cases and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive patient outcomes.
You will be responsible for the full spectrum of respiratory care, from assessment and treatment planning to the implementation of care plans across all patient populations. Whether managing ventilators, performing pulmonary diagnostics like ABGs and PFTs, or responding to code blue events, you will play a direct role in supporting the health of the Chicago community. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a Lead RCP during assigned shifts, fostering leadership and professional growth within a large healthcare system.
