In this position, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, performing assessments, administering therapies, managing ventilators, and educating patients and families. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The role requires adapting quickly to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows while maintaining professional conduct and high clinical performance.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to travel between assignments as scheduled. We look for professionals ready to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring readiness for varying clinical demands.

- check_circlePerform respiratory assessments, develop care plans, and adjust therapies based on patient conditions
- check_circleObtain, analyze, and interpret arterial blood gases and other diagnostic tests to guide interventions
- check_circleEducate patients and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and equipment use for long-term management
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- check_circleAdhere strictly to infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards in all clinical settings

- check_circleRespond rapidly to respiratory emergencies, codes, and rapid response calls with safe interventions
- check_circleSet up, manage, and troubleshoot invasive and non-invasive ventilators such as BiPAP and CPAP
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- verifiedCurrent state respiratory care license (or eligibility for licensure) in assignment state(s)
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification (PALS and/or NRP preferred)
- verifiedExperience with ventilator management and non-invasive ventilation in acute-care settings
