As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, performing critical assessments, administering therapies, and managing ventilators. This role exists to support optimal patient outcomes by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
You will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting invasive and non-invasive ventilators, interpreting arterial blood gases, and responding rapidly to respiratory emergencies. A key part of your day involves educating patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment use to support long-term disease management. You will adapt quickly to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows, maintaining high clinical performance while traveling between assignments.
