About the Role
We are seeking a Respiratory Technician (Non-certified) to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will work under the general direction of the Director/Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians. Your passion for creating positive patient interactions will be valued as you contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include administering medical gases and aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, performing patient testing, and operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment. You will also be responsible for completing documentation in patient records, cleaning equipment, and maintaining safety and infection control practices.

Requirements
- verifiedCurrently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
- verifiedMaintains a GPA of 2.0 or greater
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent Kansas Student License (or within 60 days of hire) from the KBHA
- verifiedClinical experience through Clinical Rotations
