About the Role
The Resource Operator II is a pivotal role designed to carry out all operator tasks across applicable areas of the plant while providing essential shift coverage during employee breaks and vacations. This position ensures operational continuity and efficiency, adapting to the specific needs of the facility.
Depending on the location, your scope of work will encompass a wide range of critical processes. At the Le Sueur Ingredients facility, responsibilities include HTST and packaging. At the Lake Norden facility, the role expands to include HTST, starter, packaging, vat, belt, secondary starter/powder blend, mozzarella make room, and custom processing dryer operations. You will be expected to operate cheese and whey equipment, manage Clean in Place (CIP) systems, and monitor complex production flows, ensuring that every task is performed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTrain other workers on various tasks and provide corrective feedback as needed
- check_circleTake area samples for micro and analytical results and return vials to the laboratory
- check_circleTroubleshoot machinery and adjust computer systems to maintain production flow
- check_circleOperate HTST, packaging, vat, and cheese/whey equipment safely and efficiently
- check_circleIdentify and correct equipment issues, variances, and deviations from operating parameters
- check_circleAdhere to HACCP, food safety plans, and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
- check_circlePerform CIP, Master Sanitation, and titrations to maintain high sanitation standards
- check_circleClean and sanitize all applicable areas, walls, floors, and equipment to ensure safety
- check_circleMonitor whey, permeate, and lactose flows while regulating production factors
Requirements
