About the Role
The House Manager serves as the operational leader for our residential program, dedicated to fostering independence and well-being for individuals with disabilities. This role is vital in implementing person-centered plans and ensuring that medical, financial, and recreational needs are met with the highest quality of care.
At the heart of this position is the application of Chrysalis Values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability. The House Manager supervises and mentors Residential Support Staff, modeling these values to help individuals gain greater independence. Success in this role requires seamless coordination between schools, state workers, families, therapists, and courts to create a supportive environment for every resident.

Compensation
Pay starts at $19.50 an hour.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Experience and/or equivalent education in working with handicapped individuals. Knowledge of person centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals. Experience in supervising employees. Understanding of DSPD policies. Good general writing skills and ability to articulate oneself on a variety of issues. Ability to understand and manage personnel issues and deal with staff in a positive manner. Computer skills. Ability to balance financial statements and maintain financial folders.
