As a Residential Counselor, you will provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE). This role is designed to foster skills for daily living and community integration, allowing residents to build independence. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to dignity, respect, and evidence-based practices.
In this position, you will make a direct impact on residents' growth. Your day-to-day involves teaching essential activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and medication management, while also facilitating socialization. You will implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance, advocate for residents' needs, and model healthy coping strategies. Additionally, you will ensure a safe, clean home environment and maintain timely documentation.
