This position is dedicated to creating a comfortable, safe, and supportive atmosphere for residents in student housing. The primary mission is to help students interact positively with their dorm mates and adjust to campus life overall. You will serve as a vital channel of communication between management staff and students, fostering an environment where personal growth and accountability thrive.
In this role, you will conduct dormitory operations in strict accordance with Center and CSD operating policies. Your day-to-day impact involves providing informal counseling on stress management, personal problems, and emergency situations, while guiding students toward responsible behavior. You will facilitate small group discussions and life skills workshops covering topics such as budgeting, renter's rights, lease completion, and conflict resolution.
Safety and well-being are paramount. You will be responsible for conducting evening and overnight bed checks, performing daily safety and security checks of the dorm and perimeter, and providing immediate assistance in the event of injury, illness, or emotional trauma. As a certified or certifiable provider of CPR and First Aid, you will be the first line of support for students in critical moments.

Possess a B.A. or B.S. Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university. One year's experience in education or similar field.
