About the Role
As a Per Diem Resident Assistant, you will provide essential assistance in the personal care and protection of residents, whether in their private residences within the community or offsite. Your mission is to develop an awareness of residents' interests and needs, assisting them in maximizing their independence and participation in daily life.
Your day-to-day impact includes preparing meals, assisting with dining activities, and escorting clients to medical and social appointments or running errands. You will facilitate social activities, respond to personal requests such as reading or television, and manage home tasks like housekeeping, shopping, and laundry. Additionally, you may remind clients to take medication. In this role, you serve as a representative of the company, expected to present yourself professionally and deliver effective customer service that meets our cultural expectations and ensures resident satisfaction.
