About the Role
As a Per Diem Resident Assistant, you will serve as a vital representative of HumanGood, providing personalized assistance to residents in their private residences, whether within the community or offsite. Your primary focus is on supporting residents' independence and participation by understanding their unique interests and needs.
Your day-to-day impact includes assisting with personal care, preparing meals, and facilitating dining activities. You will act as a companion and advocate, escorting clients to medical and social appointments, running errands, and helping plan social engagements. Additionally, you will manage household tasks such as housekeeping, shopping, laundry, and mail sorting, while ensuring residents feel supported through activities like reading or watching television. A key part of your role is reminding clients to take medication and delivering effective customer service that meets our company's standards and cultural expectations.
