About the Role
As a Per Diem Resident Assistant, you will provide essential assistance in the personal care and protection of residents, whether in their private residences within the community or offsite at a private home. This role is about more than just tasks; it is about developing a deep awareness of residents' interests and needs to help them maximize their independence and participation.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of companionship and practical support. You will assist with meal preparation and dining activities, escort clients to medical and social appointments, run errands, and help plan social activities. You may also respond to requests for reading or entertainment, and perform home management duties such as housekeeping, shopping, laundry, and sorting mail. A key part of your responsibility is reminding clients to take their medication while providing effective customer service that meets our company's standards and cultural expectations. As a representative of HumanGood, you are expected to present yourself professionally to ensure resident satisfaction.
