About the Role

The Per Diem Resident Assistant serves as a vital support system for residents, providing assistance in personal care and protection within their private residences, whether within the Royal Oaks community or at offsite private homes. This role is designed to help residents maximize their independence and participation in daily life.

In this position, you will develop a deep awareness of each resident's interests and needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting with dining activities, and managing home tasks such as housekeeping, shopping, laundry, and sorting mail. You will also escort clients to medical and social appointments, run errands, and facilitate participation in social activities. Additionally, you will respond to personal requests, such as reading or watching television, and remind clients to take their medication.

As a team member, you are expected to present yourself professionally and provide effective customer service that meets the company's standards and cultural expectations. Your goal is to ensure resident satisfaction and contribute to a supportive environment where both residents and staff can grow.
