About the Role

As a Per Diem Resident Assistant, you will provide essential assistance in the personal care and protection of residents within their private residences, whether at a private home within the community or offsite. This role is about more than just tasks; it is about developing an awareness of residents' interests and needs to assist them in maximizing their independence and participation.

Your day will involve a blend of supportive care and companionship. You may prepare meals, assist with dining activities, and help plan or participate in social activities. You will escort clients to medical and social appointments, run errands, or assist with shopping. Additionally, you will handle home management duties such as housekeeping, laundry, and sorting mail, while responding to personal requests like reading or watching television. A key part of your responsibility is reminding clients to take their medication when needed.

As a representative of HumanGood, you are expected to present yourself professionally, ensuring resident satisfaction and meeting the company's standards and cultural expectations. This position operates on an evening shift schedule, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, offering a flexible per diem status.
