About the Division and UPMC

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UPMC/Magee Women's Hospital is a major academic unit dedicated to advancing fertility care and research. We collaborate regularly with the Magee Women's Research Institute (MWRI), one of the nation's top biomedical research institutions. Our division focuses on fertility and hormonal conditions, serving patients through the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE), which integrates reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, andrology, and endocrinology.

The division also houses the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program for long-term care after gonadotoxic therapy. Providers frequently collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, conducting clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation. About the Role

We are seeking a board-eligible/certified reproductive endocrinologist to join our busy clinical program. This role is designed for a physician who thrives in a collaborative environment, splitting their time approximately 80% in clinical practice and 20% in teaching and research. You will join a team of 7 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers, participating in a call schedule that is split evenly among providers, with some weekend availability for time-sensitive testing and procedures.

While the primary focus is clinical excellence, there are significant opportunities for research through the University of Pittsburgh if you are interested. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in clinical care, teaching, and clinical research. Academic rank will be determined based on your qualifications, experience, and achievements. This position offers a unique blend of high-volume clinical practice and academic engagement within a supportive, research-rich environment.
